Water Sports

Our campsite is located on the shores of the crystal-clear Lake Päijänne, right in the heart of Sysmä’s village center. The beach has a sandy bottom, making it ideal and safe for children. Our piers were renovated a few years ago and now include a diving platform and springboard.

All water sports equipment—jet skis, SUP boards, kayaks, and more—is available for rent by the beach next to Meijerin Maitobaari.

Solo kayak: €10/hour or €30/day (9:00–18:00)

Indian-style canoe (2 people): €10/hour or €30/day (9:00–18:00)

Rowboats

Traditional rowing boat: €10/hour or €30/day (9:00–18:00)

SUP boards

SUP board: €10/hour or €30/day (9:00–18:00)

Jet skis

1 hour: €65 (includes €90 worth of fuel)

2 hours: €110

Saunas

Lakeside Saunas

We have two atmospheric lakeside saunas. one by the main swimming beach and another, the old Meijeri sauna, by Meijerin Maitobaari.

Both saunas are charming traditional log saunaswith space for multiple bathers. You can cool off with a swim from the beach or pier.

Price: €20/hour for overnight guests, €30/hour for others.

Availability: Closed for the winter from October 1st until May Day. In winter, the main lakeside sauna serves as a changing room for ice swimmers. The ice swimming spot is part of the municipality’s winter sports offerings, managed by the Sysmä municipal sports department.

VIP Sauna

Our VIP sauna is located in the campsite’s service building. The washroom has two showers, and the sauna can accommodate around 8 people at a time. The sauna also includes a cozy lounge with sofas and a table, a small terrace, and a private toilet.

During the summer season, it’s mainly reserved for campsite guests. Outside of peak season, it’s perfect for private sauna evenings with friends. Available year-round.

Pricing: €20/hour for overnight guests. €30/hour for non-guests. Private sauna evening (off-season): €100
